Daryll Barbara Perron, 78, of Williamsburg, passed away on March 11, 2023.
Daryll was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on May 22, 1944, to General Richard and Barbara Zeoli.
She attended Tufts University where she met her husband, Robert (Bob) Perron. They were married on December 12, 1964. As the daughter of an Army General, Daryll was well equipped to be a strong and proud Navy wife. She supported her husband through multiple deployments and Commands all over the US. She not only cared for her family, often raising her children alone, but also was instrumental in helping other wives adjust to Navy life. During this time she also enjoyed bowling and yoga. When her kids were older, she went on to work as an account manager for Merrill Lynch, until she and Bob were able to retire to Williamsburg, building their dream home in Ford’s Colony. They fell in love with Williamsburg while visiting William & Mary and attending many football games to watch their daughter cheer for the Tribe.
In retirement, Daryll was very social and loved to go out to lunch with her neighborhood friends and enjoyed spending time with Bob in their monthly social groups. In her free time, she loved reading books for her book club and took up golf, joining the Ford’s Colony Ladies Golf Association 9. Daryll loved all things William & Mary, and could be found attending football games, basketball games, the symphony, and Christopher Wren Classes. She will be interred in the Columbarium at Saint Bede Catholic Church where she will be able to hear the cheers from the W&M football games.
Daryll is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Zeoli. Daryll is survived by her husband, Captain (USN) Robert Arthur Perron; sister, Leslie Hathaway; son, Robert Andrew Perron, his wife, Janet Perron and their sons Andrew Perron and Nicholas Perron; daughter, Jeanine Grabham, her husband Scott Grabham and their children Tyler Grabham and wife Casey, Elizabeth Grabham, and Jacob Grabham; and their first great grandchild, Willow Grabham.
