Daniel Leonard Pinson, 88, formerly of Toano, VA, died on March 26, 2018 in South Carolina. Daniel was born to the late John and Blanche Pinson on August 28, 1929 in Charleston, West Virginia. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy; brother, John; and sisters, Barbara, Fern and Ella.

Left to cherish his memory are: his sons; Danny of South Carolina and David of Illinois; a sibling, Ruth Gordon of Arizona; grandsons, Gregory and Luke Pinson; a granddaughter, Gretchen (Mike) Bauman of Virginia; and a great grandson, Brandon.

Daniel loved to be outside. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and most of all being with his family. He was in the Army briefly serving during the Korean War.

A graveside service will take place at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News, VA on April 4th, 2018 at 11:00am.
