Claire Dorothy Johnson, 92, passed away on July 2, 2019 in Wlliamsburg, Va. Claire had been a resident of Williamsburg since 1975 when she and her loving husband Carl moved down from Binghamton, NY. She worked for Colonial Williamsburg as an interpreter for many years, finally retiring at the age of 76. She was loved by her entire family and will always be remembered for her kind ways. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made in her honor to: Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg. Bucktrout Funeral Home is assisting the family.

    My condolences to Aunt Claire and close family. I remember Carl and Claire from Grandma Gilleran's farm growing up. Carl went with me and my dad to get my first dog when I was 5. I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts.
