Charles Arnold Cole Jr. (Arnie), 91 of Williamsburg, VA died on October 7, 2022 of congestive heart failure. He was holding his wife’s hand when he passed away. He was born in Abington, PA to Erma and Charles Arnold Cole. He was a proud serving member of the Army in Korea. He attended Penn State University, class of 1957, where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
In 1958 Arnie married Nancy Bell Scarlett. They lived in Montclair, NJ until 1973 when they moved to Simsbury, Ct. Arnie and Nancy lived in Simsbury until 2003 when they moved to Westerly RI. Arnie volunteered for many years at Westerly Hospital.
Arnie loved good jokes, parties and Penn State football games. He was a good man, always helping others particularly his family members. He also had numerous friends and did a great job of staying in touch with old friends. He enjoyed golf for many years and even more loved his lawns looking like a golf green.
He worked as a loyal and devoted senior territory manager for the Ortho division of Johnson and Johnson for 33 years.
Arnie’s memory is cherished by his loving wife, Nancy, son Charles Arnold Cole III (Chuck) and his wife Bonnie and Linda Cole Reid and her husband Martin. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Charles A. Cole IV, Elizabeth Scarlett Bowen and Sarah Nicole Bowen. He had one great grandchild, son of Charles, Rowan Cole.
