Beverly Ann Minett, age 68, passed away in Virginia Beach, VA on June 27, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. She was born in Beaver Falls, PA on Mothers Day, May 11, 1952 to the late Clayton and Ruth Pflug. She is a graduate of Beaver County Community College with a degree in Accounting and worked as an accountant for several businesses.
Beverly is survived by Bruce, her husband of 47 years; their daughter Kelly Nuckols (Eric) of Centreville, VA, and son Steven Minett (Carla) of Chesapeake, VA; four grandchildren, Austin, Grant, Landon, and Alessandra. She is also survived by her sister Sandra Sprinker (Bob) of Beaver Falls, PA, and her brother Harvey Pflug (Jenny) of Grand Rapids, MI, as well as nephews and nieces throughout the country.
Her greatest joy was reading and spending time with family. She lived her life with unquestionable integrity and had the gift of kindness and humility that made her loved by everyone. As an active church member, she was faithful to her Lord and Savior.
Beverly was a creative artisan and seamstress who made wonderful greeting cards and scrapbooks as well beautiful hand-sewn quilts. She was a loving and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who was loved, is missed, and will always be treasured and remembered for her kindness and gentle spirit.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life and legacy will be conducted by Rev. Thomas Pendergrass at Bucktrout Funeral Home in Williamsburg, VA at 10 am on Tuesday, July 7. Inurnment will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park in Virginia Beach.
The family requests that memorial gifts be sent to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
