Betty B. Crytzer, who was born to Wesley H. and Lou F. Bradley on April 12, 1923 died on September 5, 2012.

She lived in Richmond for over 30 years and also in Lee Hall and Williamsburg. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Richmond and Longwood University in Farmville. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Richmond, VA. Betty was president of the Thomas Jefferson Junior Woman’s Club where she was instrumental in raising funds to build the West End Community Center in Henrico County. She moved to Lee Hall and Williamsburg where she was employed by Ramada Inn East for 13 years. She then worked as a property manager. She died of complications due to COPD/emphysema.

Survivors include son, Robert H. Crytzer, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Linda A. Crytzer; grandson, Andrew R. Crytzer; additional survivors include, Doris Bradley Nichols, Wesley H. Bradley III, Lynn Crytzer, Jane Ruffin, and Marion Jones. She was predeceased by daughter, Carol L. Crytzer and brother, Wesley H. Bradley, Jr. Funeral arrangements are being conducted by Bucktrout Funeral Home, 4124 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. A funeral service will be held there on Monday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m.

A graveside ceremony will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, VA 23222 on Monday, September 10 at 2:30 p.m.

    I delivered Meals on Wheels to Betty on Fridays and always enjoyed my visit with her. She was a lovely lady and I will miss her. I am sorry for your loss. Lynn Clark
