Anthony V. Margan

Anthony V. Margan, 82, of Williamsburg, formerly of Lake Hopatcong for 48 years, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Anthony served as a Captain of the Merchant Marines during the Vietnam War. He retired as the Senior Staff Engineer at PSEG of New Jersey. Anthony enjoyed boating, sailing, and he especially loved to travel.

Anthony is preceded in death by his wife, Natasha Margan; parents, Ante and Matilda Margan; brother, Drago Margan; Sister, Vensa and her husband Josip Tadin, and cousin, Iris Margan.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Katharina Margan; nieces and nephews, Deanna and her husband Carl Hurtig, Peter and his wife Lisa Margan, and Anthony, Steven, and Alex Margan; and great nephews and niece, Victor and his wife Amanda, Brian and Katie.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Anthony’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 213 McLaws Circle, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
