Anne Minor Price

Anne Minor Price passed away peacefully Sunday, September 17, 2023 in Hilliard Florida.  Anne was a loving wife, sister, and mother who will be missed by everyone that knew her.  She is preceded n death by her parents; George William and Ellen Jones Minor, siblings Franklin (Faith), Virginia (Horace), Hugh (Mary Francis), Ellen C (James), Grace (Gene).  She is survived by her children Harvey, Howard (Virginia) and Carolyn (John).  In addition, there are 16 nieces and nephews on the Minor side and 22 on the Price side. She was loved by friends and family.

Anne was born on October 5, 1931 in Williamsburg, VA. and raised on Bush Neck Farm on the Chickahominy River.  She lived in Williamsburg her entire life until she moved to Florida to live with her son in 2018 upon the death of her husband.  She was a loyal and faithful servant at James River Baptist Church as she held many positions including Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School Director, WMU Director and many committees.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 22, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Bucktrout Funeral Home in Williamsburg.  The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. followed by a grave side ceremony onsite.  Afterwards, a celebration of life will take place for the family onsite. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to James River Baptist Church toward the church loan fund.
