Anita Lynn Hadad

Gifts & Memorial Donations

Anita Lynn Hadad went to her eternal home on May 14, 2022, after a long battle with metastatic ovarian cancer. She was 61 years old. Her father, Doug West proceeded her in death.

Anita never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined to get through whatever treatment she needed, because of her, we know what true courage and grace look like. Anita lived her life her way until the end, and Anita was a witness to what complete faith in God looks like regardless of how tough the battle she faced.

Anita is survived by her husband Vinnie Hadad and their son, Ryan Hadad. She is also survived by her biggest supporter, caretaker and Mom, Elsie West, who was tireless in her devotion and care for Anita during her battle, along with her brother Glenn West, sister-in-law Amy and sister-in-law Patricia Shank.  Anita leaves behind lots of additional family and friends who will carry her memory with them for the rest of their lives.

Anita was a devoted Mom, member of Lebanon Church, and animal lover.  Anita loved the beach, and celebrating life’s happiest events with family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and avid baker, she also loved canning from the garden with her mom, Elsie.

Visitation and Service will be at Bucktrout Funeral home on May 21, 2022, Visitation will be at 3:00 p.m. followed by the service at 4:00p.m.

My mom was a fighter. She never stopped fighting for me and her family. She was the best mother anyone could ever have and she did her absolute best to continue to do so. From the day she was diagnosed, she didn’t let anything beat her down. My mom may have passed, but her memory will live on in me forever. I’m so sad that she has passed, but I’m also happy that she is home. Mom has run the race and she’s home to where she belongs: heaven. Mom isn’t in pain anymore and she’s happy. She is dearly missed and it’s going to be so hard to move on without her, but I’m going to always do my best to make her proud. I love you mom.

    Ryan Hadad says:
My mom was a fighter. She fought so hard for me and my family. Mom didn’t live her life just to be alive, she lived it to be with her family and to watch me grow up. I’m so proud to have had a mother like her, but it’s going to be so hard to move on without her. My mom was the person I always looked up to for support, reassurance, and understanding. I’m going to miss her so much, but I’m also happy that she doesn’t have to live a life of pain and agony anymore. My mom is home now, she’s at the place she worked so hard to earn: heaven. My mom is home. I will miss her but I’m going to move on and try to be happy like she would have always wanted me to. I love you mom.
