This is such a heartbreaking loss. I have known Dottie since I was a kid. I was little sister, Dee's sidekick and the Atkinsons became my second family early on. I can remember tagging along with Dottie and Nelson when they were just dating and remember the joy the family experienced when Angela was born. She grew up to be a beautiful, sweet, caring person with such a big heart. She was funny and fun to be around. There was no doubt how much she loved her family. To watch her with Eric and Evan, you knew immediately that they were so special to her. The world has lost a bright shining light. Our prayers are with you Dottie, Ed, Lisa and the rest of the family. Love you all so much.
