Allen Copeland (A.C.) Harris

A.C. Harris, 75, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully at home on May 26th, 2012. †He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen C. and Helen S. Harris. †A.C. will be cherished and remembered as a loving husband, father and grandpa. †He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Betty; son, Allen (Terri) Harris; daughter, Liz (Mark) Massaro; grandchildren, Randi (Christian) Kidd, Maggie Harris, Haley and Connor Massaro, great-granddaughter Ellie, his sister Nancy (Press) Williams and nephews Bryant (Jacqui) Williams, Scott (Catharine) Williams and three great nieces.

A.C. was retired from the Naval Weapons Station and also served on the NWS Federal Credit Union board for 36 years, 28 of those as President. †He devoted much time to his annual garden and his love of Mustang show cars.

† The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 29th, 6:00 to 8:00 at Bucktrout Funeral Home, Williamsburg. †A graveside service will be held Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in A.C.ís honor to the Make a Wish Foundation, the American Lung Association or Beyond Boobs, Inc.

    Terry and Allen: Sorry to hear of the passing of of Allen's Dad. I recall AC's attendance at Maggie's volleyball tournaments, and was sure he was proud of his granddaughter. My condolences. Keith
