    Tracy K Varner says:
Our Mother had four sons. Al was the oldest, I’m the youngest. When he lived in Dover, OH, we got together regularly and went out to lunch. He called the “last of the Musketeers, The Two Musketeers.” Brother, I miss you deeply, but I know that you’re better off now. I love and miss you so much, but I’ll be ok, and so will you. “It was a great ride.” Until we meet again, and we’ll pick up where we left off. Eternally.

    Jerry Chenevey says:
I was honored and privileged to serve with Al on the New Philadelphia, Ohio, VFW Post 1445 Military Honors Team. Al personally groomed me to take over his Post Chaplain position when it became to difficult for him perform the duties at funeral services. Al was loved and respected by all on the team for his personal commitment to the veteran community. He will be deeply missed. Rest well my friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with Al and his family.
