    Uncle Albert was the brother of my Mom, Caroline, and a great, supporting brother to her and the entire Friedrich Family. I loved how he always had a sense of humor and could enliven even the dullest of tales! I will never forget a drive along the East and as we went through tunnel after tunnel I asked him how are these built? He said it is easy, they first send in a little worm and grow the hole bigger with each critter. So much for engineering! Alice and Al were supportive of all the family members and their passing is a sorrowful time for us. Love going out to cousin Jay at this sad time. Jeannie

    I only knew Al for the past four years since I moved to Patriots Colony.  But I treasured his memories of people that worked with him and I in BUWEPS  and the Naval Air Systems Command in the late 1960's.  I am sure that the Seapower archives can find references to Al accomplishments.
