Stephen Lamar Fitton, 19, lost his battle with depression May 20, 2021.
Born in Richmond, Virginia on May 31, 2001, Stephen was the beloved son of Stephen Paul Fitton and Katherine Ann Roberts, MD. He was also the loving brother of Charlotte Louise Fitton and soulmate to Mr. Blueberry Kittenbritches.
Stephen and his family moved to his home in Williamsburg, VA as a toddler. Where he grew up in The Bruton Parish Church Family; he was active in Youth Group, Peter Pelham Choir and Chaired the Bruton Book Sale his Senior Year in HS. Stephen went on Mission Trips to West Virginia and the Four Corners and Navaho Land.
He sang in the Jamestown High School Choirs – with performances at The National Cathedral, Universal Studios Workshop, and at St. Malachi’s in Times Square. Stephen sang with the Jamestown Choir under the tutelage of Chris Mooney in Williamsburg and around the state. Not only was he an incredible singer, but he also took part in many different hobbies. He was in Boy Scout Troop 1932 and played WJCC Rec Soccer for many years under many amazing coaches. Stephen also enjoyed cycling on his own or with his Momie.

Stephen was a brilliant, handsome, witty and sweet young man who always cared about his fellow man. He was always ready to lend a helping hand whether it be to a rambunctious Navaho child during his mission trip, a fellow singer, or a stranger on the street.
Donations in Stephen’s memory can be made to Bruton Parish Church-Music Ministry, Spiritworks of Williamsburg, or the National Alliance for Mental Illness.
